I 'd like to find out as much as i can about motor maintenance, such as the requirements for how often to megger, grease, vibration. etc. I tryed to find the nema requirements for a motor pm and could not find one.
Thanks for any leads.

puckman31, for AC induction motors, the main requirement is greasing the bearings. Meggar checks and vibration checks are not necessarily specified for a regular interval. I guess you would decide on how often to do this based in the importance of the motor. The importance can be detertermined by repair/replacement cost and by the cost of lost production if it fails.

That's a good source jraef but, all of the good information is in the 'member only' section. I am guessing that the OP is not a member.
 
No, but the idea is to pay for it. Anyone can buy most of the maintenance related literature and CDs.

jraef, You are right in suggesting this as a good source for someone seriously interested in this type of information. There are literally a hundred or more good technical articles available on this site directly related to motor and generator repair and maintenance. As well, membership includes the ability to ask questions to the staff engineers for help when needed.
