Can anyone help me to find out the specs on the 3-53 Detroit Diesel engine such as torque,horsepower ect.

Take the engine serial number and call Detroit Diesel Parts and Service - they should be able to supply all of the info that you need.<br><br>When it was built (which I would guess was a long time ago) there should have been a rating plate attached to the engine which would have all of that info on it.
