Came across this framing: concrete encased steel beams with chicken wire mesh (don't think it's draped). Need to find capacity of existing so we can design repairs/reinforcing. Any assistance to literature would be helpful.
Typical beam spacing 5'-0".

NYC is filled with this type of construction. We always have them expose some of the steel beams (chip concrete away) and then you're probably looking at a one-way slab running between the beams.
 
I think the concrete was primarily used as a fire protection material.
