'07 missing edges in dwg

I'm runnning 2007 and having some issues with some of my edges disappearing when bringing in part views to a drawing. One example is a simple 5/8"x32"x12" extrusion and when I bring in the side view my back and top edge don't show.
Any ideas? Thanks everyone.
