I am specifying a low pressure oring, it is going to high temp so we are using Kalrez.
I have gone through the Parker o-ring guide and the dims for the groove/gland for the -044 oring are coming out at
Groove OD 3.879 +0.000/-0.002, groove width 0.101 to 0.107, depth at 0.050 to 0.054.
Firstly, do these dims look correct? Secondly, using High temps (230°C) should these be adjusted slightly for extra expansion.
