We have just installed SW2008 SP5.0. We have a seperate location we reference for all SW file locations and the weldment profiles folder is set up the same as it is in the SW Data folder:

If you use certain fonts in SW, then in the save-as dialog (after you pick .dwg format) pick options (export options) and change the font to "true type". This has saved us 20 mins per exported dwg. (no longer having to "touch up" the drawing.)
