You could try this - I added and arc and a line coincident with the ends of the arc to both angles. The arcs are equal radii and the lines are equal length. Because this is enough to constrain the angle to the right, both angular dimensions are now reference. I changed the horizontal dimension...
Jerry,
It seems to me that if the patches were the problem, as the link would suggest, then I would not be able to translate the cgm file into ANY program, which is not the case.
I can import the CGM file into NX9 and Adobe Illustrator with no troubles.

Anthony,
Thank you for your response, but this doesn't make sense to me.
I successfully exported the following filetypes out of NX10:
Part
Parasolid
CGM
STL
DXF
IGES
STEP
I could successfully import ALL of them into NX10 EXCEPT the CGM file. I am running NX natively.

I can export a .cgm file from NX10 - Drafting or Modeling. I CANNOT import that same file BACK into NX10.
I can place it into Adobe Illustrator and import it into NX9 without issue. Exporting that same geometry into another cgm file from NX9 and trying to import that...
I found the answer to my question and it was really simple.
I created the study to optimize the linear measurement using four variables and I set the mass measurement as an upper constraint in this study.

I have a model that I have a couple of associative measurements - one linear and one of the mass of the model.
Can I go into the Optimization command (Tools tab -> Optimization icon) and set-up a study that has as its objective to get both of these...
This information was listed in the whatsnew.pdf document that came with the NX10 Distribution. It is located in the "Fundamentals" section.

As someone that got to see the demo in Dallas, I cannot wait to see the new UI in NX 9.0.
I have shown the pictures that John Baker posted to a couple of people here, and they can't wait either.

I use that extensively, but it really bothers me that we dont get WHITE and BLACK as options...
I have been using variations of the program since Unigraphics v8.
I must admit that the new interface at NX5 was a challenge, but is am SO much faster now than I was then.
The new UI just takes some getting used to, that's all.

John,
Once again, you are the master!
I believe this is what we are looking for. I have reported you answer to my user, and he is now trying to familiarize himself with the options.
Thanks again, and a shiny new star for you!

Within the parameters listed above, is it possible to measure model wall thickness and have the results plotted on the model in varying colors based on the measured wall thickness?
If so, where do I find it and how do I do it...
A bright shiny new star for you on this one John!
This has been bugging me for a while now, and none of the various searches I have performed have provided the answer you just did.
Thanks for relieving some of my frustrations!

I just tried to replicate what you desribed with my SpaceNavigator, and I have no issues Pan, Zoom and rotating while in a sketch.
I am running NX 4.0.4.2 MP4 and I saw no preference settings that would seem to suggest a 2D vs. 3D preferrence with regards to sketches.
Weird.

dr,
Make sure that if your Rhino guy is exporting IGES, he changes the IGES type to either 'Unigraphics solids' or 'Unigraphics surfaces' and that he set the IGES tolerances correctly. This may help in the translation process.
Good luck!
