Dear sirs,
We would like to use stock tubes SA334 Gr.6 in a HE with design low temperature -46°C but in the certificate there isn't the value of impact test.
Is it mandatory to write in the certificate the values of impact test? Shall we use these tubes without any problem?
Another question...
I agree (my client, too): "ASME code (no U stamp)" means "to be designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME, but neither stamped nor registered"
I have a copy of Appendix 2 (addenda 06) but my interpretation is different (maybe ‘cause of my bad English).
About hubbed flange: if I want to...
Heat exchanger ASME CODE (no U stamp)
Can I use a plate (SA516Gr60) to machine a shell/channel flange?
For a welding neck type? And for a loose type?
Where is forbidden? ASME VIIIdiv1?
Thank you all.
Sorry but I my ASME Review (2006) UCL stop at 60.
And why UCL ? UCL refers to integral cladding, overlay cladding and linings... and this is not my case.
Head:
material: SB127 UNS N04400
thk (after forming) > 6mm
ID: 305mm
Code: ASME (U stamp)
Question: after COLD forming, shall I need any heat treatment? Normalizing? Which temperature?
Where I can find some information?
Thank you.

Dear All
As concern the materials A 266 Cl.1 and A 350 LF1 , you are kindly asked if according to ASME Code there are particular requirements for two times Post Weld Heat Treated materials.
Thank you for cooperation.
