    Sorry but I my ASME Review (2006) UCL stop at 60. And why UCL ? UCL refers to integral cladding, overlay cladding and linings... and this is not my case.

    increase clearance of the baffle/shell is ok only where clearance has no significant effect on shell side heat tranfer. See temaRCB 4-3.
