We have sent PDf's off to the machine shops for quotes and get the same questions. I have instructed purchasing to tell them to upgrade to 7.0. I guess they have since we did get a quote from them. I think they should give you an imcompatible version error meesage instead of th one you get

Stupid question, are you installing it on the actual server or installing it from another machine to the server? The reason I ask is we received an error meesage when installing the admin image from a machine if it wasn't the server itself

The admin image we create is 2.75 Gig. It contains directories like Archivos de programa, Programme and Programmi. I need to copy the image to another server but I would like to trim the dead weight of the 2.75 gig image. Can someone tell me what is safe to delete?

I am trying to duplicate the shops problem on our Engineering printers and cannot. I was also thinking it was a driver issue for their plotter as well!
Has anyone noticed a problem with edrawings2005? We can print some .slddrw's but some come out as a pure black sheet using a lot of toner.

I downloaded a program called wintopo. I didn't pay for the real version but the free version is ok for converting vectors. It doesn't do too complex but it starts it so that you might only have to touch it up. You can download that program at http://www.wintopo.com/
Our IT dept put a new printer in our dept. They gave it a different name. I run a script file for plotting. I usually can shut off the plot splash screen so I can see the line by line questions. I have cmddia set to 0 and I can still see the splashscreen. What am I doing wrong?

Is there a way to capture the system registry profile settings? What we are up against is if someone logs into a different computer, they lose all their settings since its on the other machine.
