How many atoms are in one unit cell of ferrite (BCC)?

Hi please i want to know for one unit structure cubic ferrite we have 1/8*8+1 atome its mean 2 atome so my question is we have 1 atome F and 1 atome Carbon in middle for one unit crystal please someone explain

The carbon is interstitial, in between the Fe atoms.

Yes IR, it is very different for 1012 vs 1095.
Remember that an alloy that is 1wt% C is nearly 5at% C.

One BCC unit cell of ferrite contains two Fe atoms. This is what we have read in our Metallurgical Engineering classes.
My question is: this is just a theory to explain various mechanical and physical properties of metals, right? After all, the unit cell is a concept. Can it be physically verified?

of course it can be verified, X-ray diffraction does that.
And I can make macro sized single crystal samples to test and measure.
