3d microstation - mapping a sky to fill entire background of a drawing

3d microstation - mapping a sky to fill entire background of a drawing

(OP)
I do alot of 3D modelling in microstation, but I've never been able to work out how to map a sky as a backdrop to my landscaped model.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how I do this?

Also,

I have tried mapping images to each face of a cube through 'environment mapping' in the 'assign material' toolbox but I am unable to apply different images to the different faces of a cube (i.e.front, back, left, right, top bottom)

Any help most welcome.

P.S. Does anyone know any specific microstation V8 forums on the web???

Bentley has discussion groups set up for all of their products which they check regularly and answer questions just like the ones you are asking. They are quite helpful.  You can find the disussion groups at:  http://discussion.bentley.com/
