compound units

I'm a beginner with Mathcad and I have a simple (perhaps) question:
I define a force (F:=10N) and an area (A:=10mm^2) and then calculate the stress (s:=F/A).
The result is expressed in Pa: can I visualize it in N/mm^2?
Thanks to all..

RE: compound units

Select the answer (with all the units) and type the units you require in the placeholder

RE: compound units

Thank you for your answer.
Just yesterday I found this solution too, but it isn't a direct one.
Better than nothing..

RE: compound units

Don't remember where this setting is, but I seem to remember an option which turns off the "smart" display of units.

I can check when I get home later.

RE: compound units

It's under Format Results, but it leaves you with kg /m /s^2

RE: compound units

Changing units is fairly simple.  I do it all the time.  If the unit you want is not in the library such as ksi, use the tilde ~ operator to globally define the value.  e.g. ksi ~ 1000*lbf/in^2.  Then you can use ksi as a displayed unit.

I just opened my MCAD2001i and it had newtons as N and mm listed within the units table.  You should be able to just insert after the answer N/mm^2 and it will be in the correct unit values.
