When trying to plot drawing using IPLOT I get the following error message:

System Fault=5
MDL Abort in Fusearch.c at Line 612

I would appreciate any suggestions to remedy this plotting problem.

I got this answer from Bentley support:
It sounds like there is a header issue that iplot does not like. Try using the merge utility via microstation manager and merge the file into a new file.
OR
This also might work:
Attach original file as ref to a new file and copy the ref file graphics into the new file
