If slope is vertical then ?

If slope is vertical then ?

If slope is vertical then ?

(OP)
If slope is vertical then can anybody suggest it's vertical tollerence for STABL.

Like Caission for container yard quay , how can solve the slope problem with STABL...
U know SLOPE/W cannot calculate if it is vertical.
It can cause a error !

It is same on STABL ...I think,..,.

CAn anybody suggest it's tolerence ?

RE: If slope is vertical then ?

I usually set the top of the vertical wall (slope) back about 0.1 foot so that the slope is nearly vertical.

RE: If slope is vertical then ?

Like PEinc I normally set the vertical slope / wall back about 100mm (4 inch) and I have no problem running the analysis.

For modelling purposes the analysis will not change.

RE: If slope is vertical then ?

Thanks for ur advice...
I post that question because it's vertical tolerance give affect slope safety.
From the many trial and error method I think below 10cm can often derive a fatal error for analysis in some unlucky case.

So i wanted to know if there is any literature reference about that or papers which can back up that kind of error.

Thank u everybody~
