Deck ledger issue on brick homes 1

I haven't looked at ALL the responses for decks attached to homes with brick veneer.
My TOOTB is doing trimmer joists on 48" internals, hangers used and double headers in-between these trimmers joists.
Use hold-down tension devices for lateral and stand alone steel i-beam with meatl posts bolted to j-hooks in concrete footings for even more self supporting lateral movement.
I have deck with a 18' span with trimmer joists every 48".

Any objections to this and why please.

I don't understand your situation, but I will say this. I have about given up on deck ledgers, especially when there is masonry involved. So much better to design the deck to be free standing. This not only eliminates multiple structural concerns but also risky flashing details.
 
j-hooks and meatl posts, sounds like a butcher's shop.
