Solidworks 2024 strange behavior...

Solidworks 2024 strange behavior...

Solidworks 2024 strange behavior...

(OP)
We just jumped from SW 2019 to SW 2024. We also updated video drivers to that recommended by the Solidworks compatibility listing. We have noted some strange behavior. Specifically, when you open some sort of setting window like the System or Document properties interface, and go to close it...IT TAKES FOREVER to close. It just sits there after you exit for 10-12 seconds.

Right now, since we are getting the settings all adjusted, it is really aggravating. In the future, after everything is dialed in, it may not be as bid a deal.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Is you SW on a server? The server may need to be updated.
When we updated from 2018 to 2022 last year, we had to update the server.
Check with VAR or SW.

ctopher,

Installation on local dedicated machine...

I have been using it more...and the main delay is on the options window, when close it. Other user interfaces are OK... That one window just takes 10-12 seconds to close. Very strange.

Contact your VAR. They can connect to your PC and find the issue.
