Good Day Gents,

Dissimilar Material between Carbon Steel Flange to Stainless Strainers Should need an insulation gasket?
Your cooperation in this regard will be highly appreciated.

I wouldn't be concerned about it due to the size of the strainer is much smaller than the Carbon steel piping system. The stainless is more noble than carbon and will not be affected by galvanic corrosion.

Why the different material?

What is the rest of the system made of?

Remember - More details = better answers
Also: If you get a response it's polite to respond to it.
