Feasibility of a Roll bender made out of very thick pine wood dowel?

Feasibility of a Roll bender made out of very thick pine wood dowel?

(OP)
I ask this question because I'm planning to make a roll bender machine for bending a 120 cm long and 1.5 mm thick grade 201 stainless steel into a cylindrical shape with 10 cm diameter thick and 120 cm long pine wood dowel.

Also will the 10 cm diameter thick and 120 cm long pine wood dowel sufficient to roll bend the 1.5 mm grade 201 stainless steel if used as the roller material?

By the way, please sorry i start this new thread because i forgot to tell the detailed specifics of the hypothetical roll bender plans.

Also please this a new thread i'm wanted answers not complains about the same topics.

i want to know would it worth to make a thick pine wood dowel just for a roll bending the stainless steel plate?

Umm...why? I doubt it would stand up to the abuse. Just use a hollow steel tube of the required diameter.

If this is a hobby exercise and you're only going to use it a couple times, go for it. Can't guarantee it'll work or even be safe, but hey...it might work!
