Creo drawing dimension arrows

Creo drawing dimension arrows

(OP)
Good morning all
I've lost my formatting somehow, I'll back track on that later when I have time and find my back up, but for now could anyone please give me a clue on a small issue I've managed to invent!!
On my drawing when I create a simple length dimension but place the dimension and arrows outside the dimension, I have a normal leader from the arrow head to the dimension text, but on the opposite arrow head there is no tail at all, just the arrow head.
So far I've tried adjusting in config:
dim_leader_length
dim_text_gap
leader_elbow_length
set_datum_leader_length
extension_line_offset

I know some of those are unrelated but clutching at straws, so tried all of them to no avail.
Can anybody please point me at whatever stupid thing I'm missing please?
Thanks

A picture would help.
