Hi. I have a problem, when modelling a floor in Risa Floor the infill beam angle wont change to horizontal or vertical. It just keeping at horizontal. Can someone help me out? Thanks

Probably the wrong forum, there is a specific forum for Risa.

Also, I haven't dabbled with RisaFloor, only 3d. In 3d, the beam angle is it's rotation about it's longitudinal axis. It is not it's angle relative to horizontal or vertical. In those instances, you need to actually model the two nodes at different values of the vertical axis (Y-axis in my 3d).

Probably a better question for the RISA forum or their tech support department.

It's been 5 years since I worked for RISA, so my ability to answer questions like this has greatly diminished. If I recall, however, there may be something wrong with the "circuit"... meaning the bay in which you are trying to add your beams.

Look at the image below. The small, square framing circuit on the upper left is perfect. The program will handle this easily.

The larger L shaped framing circuit, on the other hand, can sometimes be problematic. RISAFloor will often be able to hand a "Concave Circuit" like this without a problem. But, the more complex it gets, the more difficult it will be for the infill framing tool to handle this type of circuit.
