Hi,

I am not sure if I understand exactly what you mean. Do you want to control the node numbers, their "labels"?

I don't know it it applies for all pre-processors but in Femap you can control the nod numbers. If you want to write the dat-file directly, I don't see any problem either.

I suspect that I don't understaand the question correct.

I just want to control the labels of the nodes.

i want to generate the co-ordinates of the nodes with the help of that i want to create a line chart in excel spreadsheet.
