What kind of fittings are these?

What kind of fittings are these?

RE: What kind of fittings are these?

I'd guess they are proprietary.

Regards

Mike

The problem with sloppy work is that the supply FAR EXCEEDS the demand

RE: What kind of fittings are these?

They are BREG polar care connectors.

No idea what that is but why do you want to know?

RE: What kind of fittings are these?

They appear to be for water, flowing thru a therapeutic system which provides a 'cold pack', like an ice pack, but something that lasts much longer.

Thanks everyone for your input

RE: What kind of fittings are these?

I have only seen couplings line then ones shone in medical equipment. I agree with the likely proprietary idea. Likely there is a patent that makes duplicating them risky.

Speaking of those fittings, while researching some new bathroom faucets I came across this installation video which shows what looks like connectors similar to what what being talked about:

RE: What kind of fittings are these?

John, I recently installed one of those at my daughter's place. They had the hot and cold keyed differently so that you could keep them straight. They were the same diameter so they would slide together, but it would only lock with the correct one.
