I am inspecting a large garage that is 1/2 precast and 1/2 cast in place. Where the expansion occurs between the two garages I'm trying to locate in code the requirements for piping passing through this location. Would all pipes require some type of expansion or pipe of a certain size? Is this requirement found in the ICC codes or somewhere else?
