Correlation between undrained cohesion and SPT N value for organic/peaty soils
Correlation between undrained cohesion and SPT N value for organic/peaty soils
(OP)
I am doing research on the correlation between the undrained cohesion and SPT N values for organic/peaty soils and I couldn't find any related test for this.

When SPT gets below 10 I really start to question the correlation between Cu.
In peat/organic soils you are probably getting N values of 0-2, these are essentially useless. The confirm that you have a soil that is similar to mayonnaise but nothing else.
For these soils you need CPTs with a large cone..

Large cone CPT's are one option but traditionally you will find literature on vane shear testing.

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Do you feel any better?
