I am doing research on the correlation between the undrained cohesion and SPT N values for organic/peaty soils and I couldn't find any related test for this.

The reason that there is not many, if not any correlations between organic/peaty soils is that it is just too unreliable.

When SPT gets below 10 I really start to question the correlation between Cu.

In peat/organic soils you are probably getting N values of 0-2, these are essentially useless. The confirm that you have a soil that is similar to mayonnaise but nothing else.

For these soils you need CPTs with a large cone..

To echo EireChch's point, penetration testing in organic/peaty soils with low resistance is useless.

Large cone CPT's are one option but traditionally you will find literature on vane shear testing.

You'll get a huge scatter in your data... even on the same site. [ponder]

Rather than think climate change and the corona virus as science, think of it as the wrath of God. Do you feel any better?
