champagne effect in water-compensated CAES

Hydrostor is starting to get a lot of action with their water-compensated CAES plant:


The champagne effect can be a serious problem in these plants:


Some methods for counteracting it have been patented, for instance:


Does anybody know how Hydrostor intends to avoid the champagne effect? I am presuming that they know about the problem. If they don't, they are in for an unpleasant surprise.
