TE Connectivity 5380598-2 or 380598-1 Discrete Sockets?
TE Connectivity 5380598-2 or 380598-1 Discrete Sockets?
(OP)
The 5380598-2 or 380598-1 are discrete through-hole soldered sockets for pins, wires, or components that have been around for a long time.
I cannot find reliability data such as insertion-cycle-life for these parts.
Has anyone had experience using these sockets or related stories to tell?

The durability rating of the old Amp sockets doesn't seem to compare to the 1000 cycle rating of the competing Mill Max sockets.
