Tracking and TPMS combined?

Tracking and TPMS combined?

Tracking and TPMS combined?

(OP)
Hi everybody,
I have a company which retails GPS trackers. I have an interesting opportunity but I don't know how to solve it, I am only a misarable seller, no engineer whatsoever..

A big costumer of mine asked if I can equip the gps trackers with TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) functions.

So I started to look for a supplier. Unfortunately, I looked around and only a few companies have this kind of product at an affordable price.

My question is:

there are a lot of cheap bluetooth sensors out there like this one:
https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Programmabl...

And several gps trackers with bluetooth functions like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/GPSit-Vehicle-Asset-Tracker...

or this one:
https://teltonika-gps.com/it/product/fmb920/

Contacted the producers, but they state that their trackers do not work with any sensor, but only with those that they sell/have partnership with. Is it possible that they work only with the sensors that suit them or are they messing with me?

Thank you very much, this would really help me.. Going through hard times..

RE: Tracking and TPMS combined?

Just because the pressure sensor and the GPS system talk Bluetooth doesn't mean they talk to each other... it's like they can both speak over the phone, but one is speaking French and the other German. given the (perceived) limited market of those two system needing to work together, it's unlikely you'll get them to put in the work to make it happen without a huge infusion of cash. In that case, you might as well pay an engineer to design a custom system that understands how existing units (pressure and GPS) talk and act as the go-between.

TPMS and Bluetooth operate on different frequencies.

Is this for your electric bike company?
