Post Tension Bridge Investigation
(OP)
Hello:
I wonder if anyone can advise me: I did few PTSI's 20 years ago. From memory; I used to allow for the intrusion of tendons at three locations along a profile of the ducting. Two at each side and one in the lowest point at mid span. Are the two on each side important/needed since they are in the area where shear is at a maximum ? This is other than intrusion into the anchorages.
This is of course within the limits which are recommended by CS 465
