Please,I need help about waterhammer dynamic analysis.

1) Which combination method should I prefer ?
a) ABS​
OR
b) SRSS​

AND WHY ?

2) Which load case should I prefer to combine with dynamic load case D1
a) sustain load case S3 (as indicated in the picture)​
OR
b) operating load case S2​
 
Software question belong in the Engineering Computer Programs section
 
What code are you designing to? I believe none of the B31 codes address water load cases in any detail. B31E does apply SSRS for Earth loads, but water hammer loads bounce around the piping with vector loads at each elbow. You can ask your question on the Caesar II forum or google water hammer and Autopipe as they have demo videos.
