hi fellows
I installed a new controller to mtu 18v2000 engine
please I have a problem with dse 7320 controller
there's an ecu amber warning and I don't know how to clear
it.
It's connected to ecu mdec working on mtu 18v2000 and I checked the document of that ecu but I couldn't find a solution.
it alarms can 1 node lost and can 2 node lost

When you say controller, do you mean engine ECU, or Deep Sea device? What have you actually changed in this process?
Its possible that the ECU amber is a warning that the controller can't see the engine, hence the CAN node lost alarms and the consideration you can't clear the alarm.

And I wanna tell you that in this ecu there are two can buses and there was another alarm code which is can error passive but I could clear it by connecting the two can buses in parallel. Is it normal this step. I mean does it affect on any thing?

As for the two CAN lines on the MTU ECU, from what I recall one was for an OEM diagnosis / control interface, the other one was for external equipment. Connecting the two probably isn't a good idea, as its likely that MTU kept them separate for a reason.
Hoxton's suggestion is the most appropriate, failing that I'd look at the Deep Sea documentation to find out what the alarms mean.

thank you so much guys
RE: mtu 18v2000 can 1 node lost& can 2 node lost.
Seems relevant, appears there's an issue with the CAN configuration and the engine you're using. This is taken from the Deep Sea CAN configuration manual, it would appear that you'll need MTU support to adjust the CAN parameters.

Maybe that's the issue.
so if any could identify the version of mdec tell me so I can buy the compatible dse controller
Here some photos for the mdec and can dse guide table.
RE: mtu 18v2000 can 1 node lost& can 2 node lost.
There is a manual available online with a "plant specific configuration". Perhaps it's worth looking at?

It does seem that some MTU MDEC controllers are not SAE J1939 and are read-only on the CAN so that would explain the compatibility differences.
