Complete Coal Fired Power Plant Tour

Complete Coal Fired Power Plant Tour

RE: Complete Coal Fired Power Plant Tour

That first video was very frustrating!

The movie taker had no clue what he was looking at. I had about 2 questions for every stop they made.

Right after the cooling water inlet view I suddenly became nearly incapacitated by nausea. That was easily the worst camera work I've ever seen.

I'd love to see a primary equipment diagram of that place. Anyone know of one for a coal plant? I don't think I've ever seen a more complex machine before. I doubt a nuke plant is 1/3 that complicated.

No way this type of video will get 20-30 views:

Though, to be fair, he did do a good job with the audio (IMO) considering the immense amount of back ground noise.

Regarding complexity, out of all the power plants I've seen in prints, this has got to be on the complex side. Maybe I've just seen all the ultra simple designs, but this plant certainly does make a typical nuclear plant look simple.

Here are the flow schematic for a fossil plant:

Gadzookz!!! That's going to take me a while to work thru. 30 minutes got me to sort of figuring out the format and major breakdowns.
