Manufacturing business and fire alarm system

Manufacturing business and fire alarm system

Manufacturing business and fire alarm system

(OP)
Hey guys,

I run a manufacturing company for the last ten years. Due to the COVID pandemic, we had to shut down the manufacturing company. We plan to reopen it by January. Before that, some renovation works need to be finished. We currently have a conventional fire alarm system in our company, but we plan to replace it with an addressable fire alarm system. I have a meeting with fire alarm services next week.

Has anyone here recently installed an addressable fire alarm system? Is it more efficient than the conventional one? Share your suggestions.

Thanks!

RE: Manufacturing business and fire alarm system

Is it more 'efficient'?

Well I'm not sure what you mean..

The primary benefit of an addressable system is that it allows the responding department to identify exactly where an alarm was first triggered so they can respond more rapidly.

Is the system itself more 'efficient' from an energy use or any other standpoint? No, not really. Does it allow a firefighting team to respond more quickly and 'efficiently' in the event of a fire? Yes.

RE: Manufacturing business and fire alarm system

Yes I installed. I have no issue from these address. anyone can try from these address.
