NX Nastran 11 - thermal analysis


I am new to NX Nastran 11. I am having physics background. I am not an engineer.
I want to know which is better software for thermal analysis and thermal simulation.
Is NX Nastran 11 a good one or better one ?
What about Ansys or any other software, as far as thermal analysis/thermal simulation is concerned ?

I am particularly interested in radiation part in heat transfer.
Can NX Nastran 11 handle all types of radiation and radiation+conduction problems ?

Many different commercial and non-commercial packages are capable of doing radiation+conduction problems including Nastran and Ansys. It is not rocket science.
The better software is that you are familiar with. If you do not have any experience then better to select a package that is in use in your work or university so you may find some experienced people nearby and ast them your questions, get some help from them.
In general there is no "the best" software. Every package has pros and cons.
