We manufacture a small alum (5052-0) canister using a punch press and transfer tool. Part is ran at 40 pieces per minute. We then conveyor them to a standard cam driven lathe and C’Bore them. Note that the C’Bore is perpendicular to the press tool, or straight down stoke. The C’Bore is .287 +.003/-.000 x .175 +/-.002 deep.

Any advise on how this might be done in the Press transfer tool? Drill and Ream? And where I might find info on the required tooling?
Thanks!

Not recommended, mostly because both drill and ream tools produce chips, and piles of chips are not good for punch presses.
