production of mass concrete : other than the temperature control there are specs regarding theoretical coeffs to be considered for shrinkage control while designing ? and which the correct wording for them ?
Thks

Maximum shrinkage strain of 0.00006 at 28 days and 0.000145 at 56 days according to ASTM C512.

Use of shrinkage /crack reduction additives can be very cost effective without employing hi cost engineering standards. If I remember correctly , a 2% dosage is as much as is required.

See ACI 207.1R-05, Link. Also, ACI301-16 for spec.
