(OP)
I am getting this error when trying to solve: nastran executable is not at the location specified by environment variables.

NX 11.0.2.7
Win 10 enterprise 1709 16299.1806

I can do everything in nastran except solve.

When i go to custumer defaults>simulation>Nastran>solver parameters The windows path is: C:\Siemens\NX11.0\NXNASTRAN\bin\nastran64.exe. That file does exist in that location.

The box is checked for "Use UGII_NX_NASTRAN"

Why cant i solve?

Thanks
David

RE: Message: nastran executable is not at the location specified....

If the "use UGII_NX_NASTRAN" option is checked, it will use the path supplied in your ugii_env.dat file (or system env variables) and ignore the NX NASTRAN executable path supplied in the customer defaults. Since the path is set correctly in the customer defaults, try turning off the "use UGII_NX_NASTRAN" option; don't forget to restart NX so that the new settings take effect.
