Hi All

I am new to FEMAP so please excuse me if its a simple question

I want to apply a load of 20000 N each along 27 points distributed uniformly on the top curve of a shell element(highlighted in yellow).

How do i achieve this?. My first attempt was to split the top curve with 27 points and then apply the same load for all the 27 points, however not sure how to do that

Please let me know

Thanks in advance

"load along curve" option …
under Model/Load tab pick "on curve" (you can pick other choices, but this leads to select the curve you want to load)
then (having picked a curve) you're in the load definition tab, and pick "on curve"
I think you can apply either the total load or the load/inch

another day in paradise, or is paradise one day closer ?
