Hello to all,

Although steel-reinforced aluminum mullions are not used very often, they can sometimes be encountered. In such cases, I need your advice on how to model these struts exactly right.

For example:

in my opinion problem is the compact section have two axis. firstly for aluminum ,secondly steel section how can i model this complexity ? normally i modelling 2 different sections and assign a link between them but the problem is if there lateral force, links are overload etc.

i need your help if you were i, how can modelling this section?

thank you,

Did you try SHAPE THIN from Dlubal? they allow to create such composite cross sections (Steel - Aluminium)
