Skeletons without AAX addon

Skeletons without AAX addon

Hi,

Adding add-ons in PTC Creo costs a lot. I like the AAX add-on for skeletons.
Is there a possibility to mimic the skeleton features with sketches or with other means?

Thank you for your advice.

RE: Skeletons without AAX addon

Is your real question - How do I get the full functionality of AAX skeletons without getting a license?

Simple answer - You cannot.

You can use a model that consists of only datums planes, CSYSs, datum points, datum curves, and surfaces as an initial component in assemblies and use that as a skeleton. It just won't get the special treatment that AAX gives it.
