Mass Concrete Shoring Removal

Does anyone have any guidance on removing shoring for thick (mass concrete) slabs?

I'm trying to specify the minimum strength permitted before allowing formwork and shoring removal.

My slab is controlled by ACI minimum reinforcing, not strength, and will support large walls above as a transfer slab.

My belief is to reach the aci minimum design strength of 2,500 psi but i feel like that might be too conservative.

Any thoughts?

For elevated slabs, follow DOT requirements striping formwork from bridges. The following is an excerpt from the SCDOT Standard Specification:

For (thick) slabs on grade, obviously strength can be < 75%. Your 2500 psi proposal sounds reasonable.
