Hi all
I am working on a problem in which piping Vibration loads are coming on to the Equipment. I need to perform the FEA analsysis to check the adequacy of the design if the design would be able to sustain the vibration loads for the design life. Can someone guide me how to perform the same in Ansys workbench and the design codes I must adhere to.

What is the Code of Construction of the vessel?

Rather than FEA, why is the source of the piping vibration not addressed ?

All process and power plant equipment vibrates a little ... The obvious question, of course, is how much is too much ?
Why is FEA your first choice in attacking this problem ?

The USNRC has published guidelines about maximum acceptable limits of piping vibration and how to mitigate the cause.

The seminal paper in piping vibration is the one by Wachel ...

Why does your boss prevent you from giving us additional information ?

Does he have an MBA ????
