Chrome plating specs difference

Not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'm trying to find the difference in terms of end results and capabilities for ASTM-B-650 and AMS2460A. I am trying to determine which spec to buy, and am having trouble figuring out the distinctions between the two. I wanted to see if anyone may have had experience with one or both of these specs?

WHAT IS YOU'RE APPLICATION for chrome plate?

What alloy Are You applying chrome plating onto?

Flash or engineering chrome?

IS THIS A CRITICAL APPLICATION?
