Have a query.
What is the DBTT-Ductile Brittle transition temperature for 2 1/4 Cr-1 Mo -P22/F22 chrome moly material?
Is there a formula for calculating this DBTT?
Is this DBTT valve fixed for all 2 1/4 Cr-1 Mo -P22/F22 chrome moly material?
Is there a chart available in ASTM / other standards?
DV

What AMS material standard? Or any spec

typing that into Google gives a temperature. and some discussion, and reference papers.

purchase the applicable standards and review them.

I googled before posting here, but couldn't get.
Standard Which one? I checked ASME SA-335 but not available there.

The DBTT for 2 1/4 Cr - 1Mo is all over the map depending on chemistry (control of C and residual elements), fine grain or coarse grain melting practice and heat treatment. It can range from around room temp to -40C.

And I forgot to mention product form (forged, rolled etc.) and thickness.
