Excel spreadsheet for calculation

Excel spreadsheet for calculation

Excel spreadsheet for calculation

Hi all,

Is there anyone out there willing to share excel files for pressure vessel calculation or anything that relates to boiler pressure vessel, or even storage tanks.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Excel spreadsheet for calculation

Are you an ASME member? They have various spreadsheet calculations in the Access Engineering part of their site (requires login to access). I haven't checked if they have boiler/pressure vessel related calcs.

RE: Excel spreadsheet for calculation

The design of either gets rather involved, and is not something you want to jump into with some stranger's spreadsheets. Commercial software is available for both and would be a better option if you don't care to generate your own.

RE: Excel spreadsheet for calculation

Best way to learn the codes is by making your own calc.sheets. Sure, some help by means of someone who has already made a sheet with a listing of e.g. stress allowables is something you can copy, but the rest is up to you.
