I am currently simulating Bullet impact on a Aluminum 5083 Plate. The problem that I am facing is that the model works fine when the thickness of aluminum plate is 20 mm or under. It starts behaving strangely when the thickness is increased. If the thickness is increased, d5 has to be reduced so that the material is properly removed as the bullet passes.
