Good Afternoon,
During a dye penetrant examination of Static package steam turbine blades, we found out several indications on blades foil.
Indications are rounded with several diameters 4 mm-16 mm and one is located on the weld toe (16 mm). I've being looking for a std to evaluate the severity of those indications however I haven't found something that directly address dye penetrant on this type of damage
Does anybody here have experience with that kind of failure?
Will highly appreciate if anyone knows about a specific std that cover in-service inspection of turbine blades with dye penetrant
