"TUBE STEEL" vs "HOLLOW STRUCTURAL SECTIONS"
"TUBE STEEL" vs "HOLLOW STRUCTURAL SECTIONS"
(OP)
According to AISC info the section properties for "TUBE STEEL" are exagerated and should be replaced with those for "HOLLOW STRUCTURAL SECTIONS" due to rolling mills approaching the minimum tolerances.
Can someone tell me when and in what referenceable document this "change" went into effect?
I have been all over the AISC page and done several keyword searches to dig through a bunch of useful AISC documents. But, so far, I haven't been able to locate the actual source for this change.

RE: "TUBE STEEL" vs "HOLLOW STRUCTURAL SECTIONS"
It was copywrited in 1997 and published by AISC. You should be able to get it on their website.
