You can find design methods for insulation design at http://HRSGdesign.com and http://HeaterDesign.com. Also, at the HRSG site, you can view the publication "Determination of Heat Gain or Loss and the Surface Temperatures of Insulated Pipe and Equipment Systems by the Use of a Computer Program, ©1995 ASTM"
